If you have not already done so, I suggest you read meditations by Emperor Marcus Aurelius. A man who was a few pay grades above any modern monarch, who also happened to be remarkably forward-thinking. Rather than resting on the laurels you inherited, on titles and estates, real men of character turn to philosophy. Especially important if you are a nobleman surrounded by indulgences, for they tempt you away from achieving your maximum potential. Building an impressive list of virtues is something which invariably requires considerable discomfort.Shroombuck wrote:Pfff. It's very difficult to tell you what I do on a daily basis.
